flat day

Do you ever get ‘flat days’?

Days where you’re not really anything - you’re not exhausted or fatigued, you just sort of seem zoned out, with no major changes in energy or emotional investment.

It’s not quite a depressed or sad day, where you feel heavy, it’s kind of like you’re running on autopilot.

They happen to me occasionally and today was one of them.

I’m always torn between analysing them ruthlessly or just sort of shrugging and getting on with things. The former feels silly because, you know, life isn’t all sunshine and rainbows.

But then the latter also feels unhelpful, because surely things happen for a reason.

In any case - this relates a bit to the idea of free will, or whether we’re determined etc. Did I really have a choice? Or is everything a choice. Obviously the answer must come in a sketch, that should be released this weekend.
